PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

Portland Police Bureau arrested a man after he exposed himself to a 10-year-old girl in North Portland.

Officers said Eric Garcia, 29, talked to the girl outside Chief Joseph Elementary School.

The 10-year-old was headed home near North Denver and Bryant Street Wednesday afternoon when Garcia came up to her while riding a bike.

PPB investigators said he asked her some questions, then exposed himself. The girl ran right home and told her mother, who then called the police.

Garcia was contacted as a person-of-interest on Thursday and then was arrested. He was booked into Multnomah County Jail and charged with three counts public indecency and three counts of endangering a minor.

Parents Fox 12 crews spoke with that they have either had the talk with their child about what to do or that they will be having that talk soon.

PPB said he matched the description of the suspect in another incident that happened near De La Salle North Catholic High School.
