Police: Several juveniles in custody for attempted burglary in Albany

ALBANY, OR (KPTV) -

Albany police reported that they received a call Sunday from a homeowner of the 1700 block of NW Whitecliff Drive who said that he chased off someone attempting to break into his shop.

Police officers then located and arrested three Juveniles for Attempted Burglary.

One of the suspects was later released to their parents, and the other two suspects remained in custody.

After investigation, officials report that the two suspects had been involved in multiple burglaries and thefts in the North Albany area in the past several months.

Investigators have also identified three additional suspects who were charged in connection with the string of burglaries in North Albany.

The Benton County District Attorney’s Offices is currently reviewing the case.
