Police are still looking for a man involved in a vehicle versus pedestrian hit-and-run crash in Milwaukie Wednesday evening.

Around 9 p.m., police were sent to the crash near SE Main Street and SE Milport Road.

The accident was reported to be started by road rage after a male, 46, got out of his vehicle and confronted the driver of another vehicle.

Officials say the driver of the other vehicle then backed their car up, and struck the victim.

The vehicle left the scene and drove north on SE Main Street.

According to the release, the driver has been described as a white male between 30-40 years old, with a slender build and bald or buzzed hair.

The car is reported to be a red pickup truck with a canopy, or a silver SUV.

The victim was sent to a local hospital with serious injuries, but is expected to be okay.

Anyone who witness the incident or has information is asked to call Milwaukie Police at 503-786-7500.
