BEND, OR (KPTV) -

Hundreds of criminal cases in Oregon are being reevaluated after accusations that forensic analyst Nika Larsen of the Oregon State Police Laboratory stole drugs she tested.

Larsen is accused of taking pills and other drugs from the lab in Bend, and replacing them with over-the-counter drugs.

She began her career with Oregon State Police in 2007, and has worked in labs in Springfield, Pendelton, and Bend.

District Attorneys across the state say they are still trying to figure out how much damage was done.

A former analyst, Jeff Dovici, is accused of overstating evidence in a 2005 trial. He has since retired

Officials are reviewing all of the cases he worked on and the criminal cases connected to Larsen.

The District Attorney is looking into filing federal charges against them as well.

During the investigation, Larsen has been put on administrative leave.
