EUGENE, OR (KPTV) -

The University of Oregon was one of 27 universities involved in a survey on campus rape and sexual misconduct, and the results are in.

The Association of American University survey looked at information gathered last spring from public and private schools.

More than 3,000 of the 150,000 participants were from the University of Oregon.

The report found that 24 percent of undergraduate women at U of O reported experiencing non-consensual sexual contact through force. That was slightly above the national rate of 23 percent.

The University of Oregon does offer a sexual wellness presentation to incoming students, in an effort to teach students about sexual assault.
