Police: Skimming device found at McMinnville gas station

MCMINNVILLE, OR (KPTV) -

An electronic skimming device was found at a gas station on Tuesday, according to McMinnville Police Department.

Police said the device was found by a technician at a single gas pump at the Buy 2 76 Gas Station, located at 1720 North Highway 99W.

Employees told police credit/debit card reader malfunctions were happening on the pump for about 90 days.

Police said at this time it it unknown if any credit/debit card information has been compromised.

Police said if you purchased gas at this location in the past 90 days, you should check your bank and/or credit card statements for any abnormalities.
