ST. HELENS, OR (KPTV) -

Fans of Halloweentown will have a chance to meet the star of the 1998 Disney Channel made-for-TV movie at this year's pumpkin lighting ceremony in St. Helens.

Kimberly Brown, who played 'Marnie' in the movie, will be the master of ceremonies, lighting the giant jack-o-lantern in the town square.

Brown made the announcement in a YouTube video Tuesday.

Halloweentown was filmed in St. Helens and every year, the town holds a month-long 'Spirit of Halloweentown' celebration in honor of the movie.

The free pumpkin lighting ceremony takes place Oct. 10 at the town's courthouse plaza, beginning at 7:30 p.m.
