PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

Police said a man showed up at the hospital with a gunshot wound early Sunday morning, but he was not cooperative with investigators.

Investigators learned the shooting occurred at North Tillamook Street and Williams Avenue at 2 a.m.

The initial officers who arrived at the scene did not locate any victims or evidence of gunfire.

At 3:05 a.m., a 30-year-old gunshot victim arrived at the emergency room of a Portland hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Detectives said the man is a known gang member and was not cooperative with police.

Detectives returned to the scene of the shooting and found evidence, including damage to a parked car.

The Gang Enforcement Team is investigating, but there was no immediate word about possible suspects.
