BEAVERTON, OR (KPTV) -

Tualatin Valley Firefighters responded to reports of a townhouse–style apartment fire on SW King Boulevard in Beaverton.

When firefighters arrived, they saw fire coming out of the first and second floor of one of the units.

At the time of the fire, three of the four units in the area were occupied and the other was vacant, according to Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue.

Everyone was able to escape their home safely.

All four units are unlivable at this time, one of them due to significant fire damage and the other three from smoke damage.

Fire investigators are currently determining the cause of the fire and a damage estimate.

The fire unit did not have working smoking alarms in the residence.
