MARYSVILLE, WA (KPTV) -

In Seattle on Tuesday, the father of the teenage boy who killed four classmates at Marysville High School last fall was convicted on gun charges.

Raymond Fryberg was found guilty by a federal jury and convicted of six counts of unlawful possession of a firearm. That includes the .40 caliber Beretta his son, Jaylen, used to kill his classmates and then himself on Oct. 24, 2014.

Raymond Fryberg bought the guns despite having a domestic violence protective order from 2002 that prohibited him from having firearms.

Fryberg could face up to 10 years in prison for each count.
