Man stabbed at Greyhound bus station in Old Town; suspect on the loose

PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

A man was stabbed outside the Greyhound bus station in Old Town early Wednesday morning.

Officers and medical personnel responded to the 500 block of Northwest 6th avenue at 2:36 a.m.

They located the victim, identified as 54-year-old Rondell Travers, who was suffering from injuries not believed to be life-threatening. He was taken to a Portland hospital for treatment.

Officers checked the area, but did not locate a suspect. The suspect is described as an older black man with gray facial hair wearing a light blue hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and blue and white athletic shoes.

Police did not release a possible motive in this case.
