PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

The Portland Trail Blazers are honoring the victims of the mass shooting at Umpqua Community College during the team's first preseason game.

During warmups Monday, the players and coaches wore shirts that showed "UCC" surrounded by an outline of the state of Oregon.

The team also planned to have a moment of silence prior to the game, according to the Blazers website.

A 26-year-old shooter killed nine people and then himself at Umpqua Community College near Roseburg on Thursday. Numerous others were injured in the mass shooting.

A group of Trail Blazers employees, including broadcasters and team executives, were in Roseburg just about two weeks prior as a part of the annual Rip City Relay.

The Blazers opened the preseason against the Sacramento Kings on Monday.
