ALOHA, OR (KPTV) -

The Washington County Sheriff's office reported around 11 a.m. on Friday, Nancy Mabe, 71, left her home to go to the Beaverton Kaiser Clinic.

Mabe suffers from dementia and does not drive often, but drove to the clinic alone on Friday.

She made a purchase at the pharmacy and left, presumably for home.

WCSO said her family contacted the Washington County Sheriff's Office when they could not find her.

Ms. Maybe was found early Saturday morning by a Hood River Sheriff's deputy who was traveling west on interstate 84.

The deputy stayed with her until family could bring her home.
