SHERIDAN, OR (KPTV) -

Two men were arrested Friday afternoon after deputies responded to a fight in progress, according to the Yamhill County Sheriff’s office.

When deputies arrived at the 300 block of NW Yamhill Street in Sheridan, they arrested Jacob Stones, 26, and Mark Chaney, 27.

Both were suspected of being in a fight and assaulting a third male who was at the scene.

The victim called for help and was eventually heard by neighbors who called 911.

According to deputies, Chaney faces multiple charges including second degree robbery and assault III.

Stones also faces multiple charges including second degree robbery and possession of heroin.
