Newberg Fire said Lonnie, 24, who is an employee at that Fred Meyer was trying to retrieve a broom handle that was inside a floor drain. While moving her arm into the drain, she got it stuck up to her armpit.

Newberg Fire said Lonnie tried for about 20 minutes to free herself, but was unsuccessful and called 911.

When firefighters arrived they tried to use oil and soap, but that did not free her.
