PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

Portland Trail Blazer legend Jerome Kersey was honored with a corn maze on Sauvie Island.

The Rip City Corn Maze at Bella Organic Farm features #JK25 in the middle next to the Trail Blazers logo.

Former player Terry Porter and Blaze the mascot was there Saturday, along with Kersey's widow and members of the Jerome Kersey Foundation.

Kersey died earlier this year at the age of 52 when a blood clot broke loose in his leg and traveled to his lungs.

Terry Porter said it was a great way to honor his friend.

"Its been nice to have people come up and talk about obviously the Jerome stories and so many things about how he affected this community and how great of an ambassador he was to this state," Porter said.

The Rip City Corn Maze is open every day until Halloween.

There is also a haunted corn maze that is open every Friday and Saturday night until the end of the month.
