PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

An Oregon truck driver arrested in Florida last year was sentenced to prison Tuesday after pleading guilty to charges including luring a minor and encouraging child sex abuse.

Little John Patrick Marcus, 41, was arrested in July 2014. Milwaukie Police Department detectives, using computer forensics, said they were able to identify several underage victims.

Their investigation began in November 2013.

A warrant was issued for his arrest and he was caught in Florida. He was extradited back to Oregon in September 2014 to face charges in Clackamas County.

Additional charges of encouraging child sex abuse were then filed against Marcus in Marion County.

Salem police said they served a warrant at his last known address in Salem, where he was living with his mother, and seized a computer that contained child pornography.

Detectives also said he used an app to communicate with boys between the ages of 11 to 14 years old.

Police were concerned about more victims, due to Marcus traveling across the country as a truck driver.

He pleaded guilty in the Clackamas County case to charges of luring a minor, online sexual corruption of a child, use of a child in a sexual display and encouraging child sex abuse.

Marcus was sentenced to 20 years in prison and he must register as a sex offender.

He still faces charges in Marion County and is scheduled to go to trial there in December.
