'Grumpy Cat' makes special appearance at Powell's in Beaverton

The internet's favorite cat was in Beaverton Wednesday night.

Grumpy Cat was at Powell's Cedar Hills Crossing for a special appearance.

The cat, whose real name is Tardar Sauce, was in town promoting her new book "No-It-All."

Grumpy Cat gained a lot of fame, like book deals and commercials, because of her mean mug.

Her owner said the cat is used to all the attention and usually sleeps through the appearances, but traveling with the famous feline has its perks.

"One of the best things about it is, I get VIP access, but the eyes are on Grumpy Cat. I get to do the behind the scenes stuff, everyone is looking at her not at me," said Tabatha Bundsen.
