McMinnville police searching for missing 74-year-old man

MCMINNVILLE, OR (KPTV) -

UPDATE: David "Hoss" Hostetler was found Tuesday in the Siuslaw National Forest. He was rescued from a ravine and flown to the hospital. More information here.


Police are searching for a missing 74-year-old man who is without his medication.  

McMinnville police put out an alert regarding David "Hoss" Hostetler on Monday.

Investigators said he was last seen at 12:30 a.m. Friday leaving the American Legion in his 1992 Honda Accord.

Police said it is unusual for Hostetler to not be heard from for an extended period of time.

Hostetler frequents very few places in the McMinnville area, but police said he was not found at any of them.

He is described as 6' tall and 220 pounds, last wearing a dark purple polo type shirt and black pants. His car's license plate is BAPM.

Anyone with information about Hostetler's location is asked to call the McMinnville Police Department at 503-434-6500 and reference case 15-4888.
