CLATSKANIE, OR (KPTV) -

The husband of the Clatskanie mayor pleaded not guilty in court on Monday.

Raymond Pohl was arrested on Sept. 15 on 30 counts of public indecency.

Pohl is accused of exposing himself to a barista at Flowers 'N Fluff for at least twice a week for two or more years, according to arrest affidavit.

This comes as Pohl's wife, Clatskanie Mayor Diane Pohl, faces criticism for writing an editorial, thanking police Chief Martin Hoover for his service. Hoover retired after he was accused of making racist comments.

A petition has been submitted to recall Mayor Pohl, saying she should not have accepted the chief's resignation while the investigation was still underway.

Pohl remains out of custody and is due back in court on March 16, 2016.
