Motorcyclist stabs pregnant woman's tire on I-205 during road rage fit

FOX 12's Most Wanted stabbed a pregnant woman's tire in the middle of the freeway during rush hour on Thursday.

FOX 12 spoke to the woman right after the incident. She was still on the side of the freeway, waiting for a tow truck to arrive.

The woman said she was stopped in heavy traffic along I-205 near 10th Street with a motorcyclist in front of her. She said traffic started to move, but the motorcyclist wasn't looking ahead.

She said she then honked to let him know traffic was moving and that's when the man got off his bike, pounded on her window and tried to open the door.

She locked the door and said the man then grabbed a sharp object from his boot.

"When he started walking away I thought he was going to scrape my car, like key it or something, which would be frustrating, but it's a car. It's replaceable. Then I heard the puncture. I felt him hit my car and I heard the air come out of my tires."

The woman said the man took off after slashing her tire and she wasn't physically harmed, but she did tell FOX 12 that she's 9-weeks pregnant and is going to the doctor for a check up just to make sure everything is OK.

"Just be careful. You just don't know about people around you. It could have been a lot worse, but I'm OK and I'll be fine, but it could've been a lot worse."

The motorcyclist is a white man in his late 40's or early 50's, about 5'7" to 5'10", with salt and pepper hair and a short beard. He was wearing a black leather jacket with orange writing on the back, blue jeans and black leather chaps. He was riding a dark motorcycle with high handlebars.

If you know anything about the attack, please call West Linn Police (503) 635-0238.

The woman said she was stranded on the side of I-205 for about two hours after the attack. Her family arrived to take her to the doctor for that check up.
