PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

The famous sportswear company Under Armour is spending millions of dollars to fix up two Portland parks.

Under Armour, based in Baltimore, is paying for improvements to athletic facilities at Duniway Park and Lents Park.

Portland Parks and Recreation says they agreed to accept the 5.5 million dollar grant from the company.

This agreement is another sign of competition between Under Armour and Beaverton based Nike.

According to the Wall Street Journal, Under Armour is looking to move its global footwear operations to a building adjacent to Duniway Park.
