Police: Three cell phone stores hit in a string of 'smash and grab' burglaries

VANCOUVER, WA (KPTV) -

The Vancouver Police Department is investigating three ‘smash and grab’ style burglaries at cell phone stores Saturday morning.

The first burglary happened around 4:15 a.m. at a store in the 16300 block of southeast Mill Plain Boulevard.

According to police, the suspect smashed the windows of two other cell phone stores and took phones, causing a lot of damage.

The suspect’s car, which was stolen, was later found on fire in the 11200 block of Burton Road.

Police are still looking for the suspect.

Anyone with information about the burglaries is asked to call Vancouver Police.
