GRESHAM, OR (KPTV) -

Gresham High School was placed in lockout Friday after a shooting threat was called in to the school, according to police.

Officers responded to the school at 9:30 a.m. By 10:25 a.m., the lockout had been lifted as police determined the threat was not credible.

During a lockout, the outside doors are locked and classes continue as usual inside the building.

Police said no arrests have been made in connection to the threat.

In a letter to parents, the school district said, "We know that you are concerned for your children and their safety. We are too. We take all threats very seriously, and will take all measures necessary to insure the safety of our students and staff."

There have been several threats against local schools this week.

A 17-year-old was arrested for calling in a bomb-threat during parent-teacher conferences at Estacada High School on Tuesday, according to police.

Another person was taken into police custody in Camas after posting a threatening tweet about a shooting at Union High School early Friday morning, according to the Evergreen School District.
