Man sentenced to 13 years in prison for shooting at Gresham bar

GRESHAM, OR (KPTV) -

A man who opened fire at a Gresham bar and injured three people was sentenced to more than 13 years in prison Friday.

Kenneth Sheets, 35, was arrested in March.

Officers were called to Puff's Pub on the 22200 block of Southeast Stark Street late the night of March 13.

Officers arrived to find three people injured by gunfire. All three shooting victims survived their injuries.

Sheets was identified as the suspect and later arrested. A motive for the shooting was not released.

Sheets pleaded guilty Friday to charges of attempted murder with a firearm and second-degree assault with a firearm.

He was then sentenced to 13 years and four months in prison.
