Deputies: Hit and Run investigation leads to additional DUII arrest

ALOHA, OR (KPTV) -

A Hillsboro man is charged with DUII after hitting a witness with his car while deputies were investigating a previous hit and run crash, according to the Washington County Sheriff's Office.

Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the 18700 block of SW Vista Road in Aloha after a report that a vehicle crashed into a parked vehicle, then into a house early Saturday morning.

According to police, witnesses saw both the driver and passengers flee the crash scene before deputies arrived.

When deputies arrived at the scene, they found a 2001 GMC pickup that seemed to have missed a turn in the neighborhood.

The pickup hit the homeowner’s Ford Aerostar in the driveway, and pushed the van into the garage door.

Officials say the pickup crashed into the living room area of the home.

Sheriff’s Deputies, assisted by a Sheriff’s K-9, tried to track down the suspects, but were not able to find them.

While deputies were interviewing a witness, a vehicle that was passing by and hit the witness causing a knee injury.

She was treated for her injury at the scene and released.

Marvis Lambert Jr., 32, of Hillsboro was arrested and charged with DUII, fourth degree assault, and reckless driving.
