HAPPY VALLEY, OR (KPTV) -

Crews were able to dislodge a box truck between some trees in a ravine Tuesday after it came barreling down a hill in Happy Valley last Monday.

Police said the delivery truck came down the hill and damaged a couple of houses before coming to a rest in the ravine.

Officials said there were two people on the truck trying to deliver a filing cabinet before it began rolling down the hill.

One of those people aboard the truck was Thomas Jackson. He said that his partner was able to jump off the truck as it traveled full speed down the hill, but he was stuck holding onto the truck.

Luckily the truck stayed upright and Jackson was able to climb out.

Only minor injuries were reported. Police are still investigating this incident.
