Jago, who joined Beaverton Police in December of 2005, was diagnosed with arthritis about a year after he started. With the support of the police department, Magnus was able to find a treatment for Jago that proved to be successful.

According to Beaverton Police, Jago will continue to live with Magnus, who has moved on to other duties as a police officer.
