USGS reports small earthquake near Felida, WA

FELIDA, WA -

A 2.8-magnitude earthquake shook part of southwest Washington Thursday morning.

The U.S. Geological Survey reported the earthquake struck at about 8:16 local time. Its epicenter was about 2.5 miles southwest of Felida at a depth of about 13 miles.

The temblor was initially reported as magnitude 2.7, but the USGS later upgraded it to 2.8.

Several people reported feeling shaking, but there were no immediate reports of any damage.
