DALLAS (TMZ) -

Marshawn Lynch is typically known for his aggressive play as running back for the Seahawks, but a recent trip to McDonald's shows “Beast Mode” also has a softer side.

According to a report from TMZ Sports, Lynch stopped by a McDonald's in Dallas following Seattle’s victory over the Cowboys on November 1 where a teen working at the restaurant complemented Number 24 on his shoes.

Lynch and the worker, Terrance Downs, 17, started talking, with Downs sharing his dream of starting a career in fashion and opening his own shop.

"I told him I liked his shoes -- navy blue Buscemis -- and how I wanted to buy a pair, and we all started talking," Downs told a reporter for TMZ.

According to the teen, that was when Lynch pulled out $500 and gave him some advice on following on his dream, saying, "If you're serious about getting those shoes, here's some money to help you get 'em. My job is to continue to see you grow."

A spokesman for the restaurant said the meeting greatly impacted Downs, who also told TMZ he did buy the shoes, and hopes to become successful enough do the same thing for someone in the future.
