Employee pepper sprayed during pet store robbery; Police looking for suspect

Officers responded to a robbery at the Tre Bone Pet Supply on north Lombard Street, according to Portland Police.

The employee told police that the suspect entered the store and demanded money.

According to police, the employee struggled with the suspect to get him outside.

Officials say the suspect then pepper sprayed the employee and ran away.

Nobody was injured according to the report.

Officers, including a police K-9 searched the area for the suspect, but not were not able to find anyone matching the description.

Police say the suspect can be described as a white male, 5’ 11” tall, 25 to 30 years old, with a thin build and wearing dark-colored clothing.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
