COWLITZ COUNTY, WA (KPTV) -

A Scottsdale Arizona based International Cruise and Excursion company called the Cowlitz County Sheriff’s office to report a large scale theft.

Officials say the theft was discovered during a termination audit of an employee.

The suspect, Amber Heinz, 34, of Castle Rock worked as a home based travel agent.

According to deputies, she used the company credit card to book over $50,000 in travel for a large number of individuals, but did not reimburse her employer for the expense.

The thefts occurred between June 2014 and Aug 2015, according to the report.

Deputies say Heinz admitted to portions of the theft during the interview.

An investigation is still ongoing, anyone who has knowledge of the situation is asked to call the Cowlitz County Sheriff's Office.
