Missing 16-year-old boy with autism found safe

VANCOUVER, WA (KPTV) -

UPDATE: (9:37 p.m. Nov. 13): Vancouver Police said Eddie Hawks was found and is safe. He is being reunited with his family.

                                                                                                        

ORIGINAL STORY:

Vancouver Police, along with neighborhood volunteers and Clark County Search and Rescue, are actively searching for a missing 16-year-old boy who is autistic.

Police said Eddie Hawks has been missing since 6:30 p.m. on Friday. He was last seen in the area of NE 112th Avenue and NE 9th Street.

Eddie is described as white, brown hair and brown eyes, wearing a pinkish orange colored t-shirt, black sweat pants and black/gray colored Vans slip on shoes.

If you see Eddie, please call 911 immediately.
