PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

One of FOX 12's Most Wanted stole two bicycles in Northeast Portland from men who are visiting from Virginia.

The men have been traveling across the U.S., mountain biking and backpacking along the way.

On Tuesday night, someone broke into their car and stole the bikes. The thief also got away with a backpack from the car.

Police said the suspect was captured on surveillance using one of the victim's debit cards.

The suspect is described as a white man, in black clothes and wearing a baseball cap.

FOX 12 spoke with the men who had their bikes stolen.

"We had a very limited budget to begin with. It sucks because now we have to pay for the broken window," said Kyle Runkles.

"Its been a lot of fun. We aren't going to let this incident slow us down at all, we're still going to continue on with the trip," said Nick Meyerhoffer.

If you know anything about the theft, please call Portland Police.
