Police: "Joker Bandit" caught on camera robbing NW Portland bank

PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

Portland Police responded to a report of a robbery at an On Point Community Credit Union in NW Portland around 2:15 p.m. on Friday.

Police said employees at the bank, located at 2688 NW Vaughn Street, told them the suspect used a note to demand money from a teller. The suspect left the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Officers searched the neighborhood but did not find anyone matching the suspect's description.

The suspect is described as a white male in his late-20's, 5'8" to 5'10", thin build, narrow face with scars and sores, scruffy facial hair, narrows eyes, wearing a tan jacket and dark pants.

Robbery detectives have named the suspect "The Joker Bandit" and he is suspects of three other bank robberies in Portland in recent weeks.
