PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

A man suspected of exposing himself to several women in Southeast Portland has been identified.

Police say 22-year-old William Wimberly Jr. was already in custody at the Multnomah County Inverness Jail on an unrelated charge of burglary.

The Portland Police Bureau Sex Crimes Unit issued criminal citations to Wimberly yesterday.

He is facing charges of public indecency, disorderly conduct, and criminal mischief.

The most recent report of public indecency was on Friday November 6, at a business at Southeast 17th Avenue and Hawthorne Boulevard.

The employee told police the suspect was browsing and asked for help, and when she turned back around from checking a price, the man was touching himself.

A similar incident happened at a business at Southeast 47th Avenue and Belmont Street in early October.

Detectives say Wimberly may be responsible for additional incidents of public indecency.

Anyone with information about Wimberly or additional incidents should contact Detective Cory Stenzel with Portland Police.
