Oregon State University says all students safe in France

PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

Oregon State University says all 24 students participating in education programs in France are safe and accounted for.

In a release, the University said four of the students were in Paris at the time of the attacks.

"We are all incredibly saddened by the tragic violence..We remain in close contact with students in France and support them and their families as best we can during this tragic time." said Mark Hoffman, vice provost of international programs .

Counseling services are being offered to French students attending OSU in Corvallis.

The Trail Blazers announced they were lighting the Moda Center up in French colors through next week.

The Morrison Bridge is also being lit up in French colors.

The International Leadership Academy in Lake Oswego also announced they will hold a moment of silence and vigil at Noon Monday.
