HILLSBORO, OR (KPTV) -

Mylien Ngyuen was working at her Hillsboro salon when the news broke out about the terror attacks in Paris.

She grew up in Lyon, France and she says she watched the coverage in horror.

Ngyuen’s sister and nice were arriving in Paris on two different trains to go to Disneyland Paris as the chaos unfolded.

She was able to get a hold of her sister the day after the attacks.

All of the trains and public transportation stopped, so Ngyuen’s  niece had to hitchhike to a relative’s house.

Both Ngyuen’s sister and nice are safe, but she is still waiting to hear from several of her friends.

“I just want everyone to pray for people in France and just hoping it’s going to stop,” said Ngyuen.

Ngyuen’s relatives told her that the mayor of Paris has asked people to stay alert and keep an eye on neighbors and report anything that seems suspicious.
