Police: Two people arrested in traffic stop with meth, cash, stolen gun

PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

Two people arrested following a southeast Portland traffic stop were carrying meth, cash and a stolen handgun, according to police.

Officers initiated a traffic stop at Southeast 92nd and Powell Boulevard at 1:18 a.m. Monday. Police said the driver did not stop until pulling over at Southeast 87th and Brooklyn Street.

Officers learned both the driver and passenger had warrants for their arrests.

After the suspects were taken into custody, police said they located several thousand dollars in cash, methamphetamine, marijuana, prescription pills and a stolen handgun in the car.

The driver, Michael Kenneth Aposhian, 46, was booked in the Multnomah County Jail on charges of felon in possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of a firearm, theft and identity theft.

The passenger, 37-year-old Christina Perreans Wilson, was booked in jail on charges including possession and delivery of methamphetamine, attempted possession of heroin and a parole violation.
