Reward offered in 2011 SE Portland deadly shooting of 18-year-old

PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

A reward is being offered in hopes of solving a 2011 shooting death in southeast Portland.

Police responded to reports of shots fired near Southeast 135th and Sherman Street at 10:20 p.m. July 20, 2011.

Officers arrived and found 18-year-old Larry Ma suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital and later died from his injuries.

Detectives learned that Ma was shot while in his car somewhere north of where he was found. Police believe he was shot, then drove his car southbound for a few blocks before crashing into a yard on the 2200 block of Southeast 135th Avenue.

Officers searched the area, but no suspects were found.

Crime Stoppers of Oregon is now offering a reward up to $2,500 for information that leads to an arrest in this case. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
