ALOHA, OR (KPTV) -

Washington County Sheriff's Office said Deputy Micah Akin and his K9 partner Stark reached their 100th capture on Nov. 13.

On Nov. 13, deputies responded to reports of shots fired following a verbal altercation and three suspects fled on foot in Aloha.

Deputy Akin and K9 Stark tracked one of the suspects through a "greenspace", an apartment complex and then into a field where the suspect was attempting to hide. Stark barked to alert Deputy Akin to the location of the suspect.

This capture marked Stark's 100th capture during his first three years on the job.

Deputy Akin joined the WCSO in 2005 and became a member of the K9 Unit in 2012.

The two other suspects were also caught and all three were charged with disorderly conduct.
