CORVALLIS, OR (KPTV) -

Three people were arrested and a fourth person was cited in connection to two attacks and robberies in Corvallis, including one that left a victim unconscious.

Investigators said the first incident occurred on the 500 block of Northwest 21st Street on Nov. 12. Within an hour, a similar crime occurred near the intersection of Southwest 8th Street and Monroe Avenue.

In both cases, the victims were approached and assaulted by two men, according to police. The victims had phones and other items stolen from them.

Police said one of the victims was knocked unconscious.

Investigators were able to connect a vehicle to the suspects, after they used one of the victim's credit cards to make a purchase. The suspects were then identified as 20-year-old Carl Whitt and 20-year-old Tommie Willis Jr., both of Albany.

Search warrants were executed on the van and a home in Albany. Police said stolen items from the strong-arm robberies in Corvallis were recovered.

Whitt and Willis were both arrested Wednesday and booked in jail on charges of second-degree robbery, third-degree assault and second-degree theft. Their bail was set at $375,000.

Police also arrested 20-year-old Shyanne Zimmerman, the suspected driver of the van used to take Whitt and Willis to and from each robbery.

She was booked in jail on the same charges as Whitt and Willis, as well as additional charges of identity theft and fraudulent use of a credit card. Her bail was set at $412,500.

A fourth suspect, 18-year-old Shahalie Flesher, was cited and released on two counts of attempted fraudulent use of a credit card and two counts of identity theft.

Whitt, Willis and Zimmerman were scheduled to appear in court Thursday.
