BEAVERTON, OR (KPTV) -

Firefighters responded to a six-unit single-story apartment complex fire on SW Farmington Road in Beaverton around 3:30 Thursday afternoon, according to Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue.

When crews arrived just minutes after the report, they found one of the middle unites in flames.

Access to the fire was challenging because of the narrow walkways and tight fence lines.

Crews report one person was living in the apartment that was on fire, and was able to evacuate uninjured.

Officials say a dog was trapped inside one of the units, and firefighters were able to get the dog out uninjured.

Six adults and one child were displaced by the fire.

Investigators are working to determine the cause of the fire, and estimated cost of damages.
