Missing Newberg-Dundee woman found safe

Update: (7:30 p.m. Nov. 23) Newberg-Dundee Police Department said Ana Maria Frigine-York was located safe on Monday and is in good health.

According to police, Frigine-York has gone on a walk on Friday without telling anyone and ended up in rural Dundee. She choose to camp until deciding she wanted to return home.

Frigine-York was reunited with her family around 3:45 p.m.

The Newberg-Dundee Police Department is looking for the public’s assistance in finding 60-year-old Ana Maria Frigine-York.

Police said Frigine-York was last seen around 9 p.m. Friday night.

According to police, she left alone on foot.

Frigine-York is described as 5’ 3” tall, 160-170 pounds. She has shoulder length gray hair and hazel eyes. She was last seen wearing light purple colored windbreaker and sweat pants.

According to police, she does not have a phone or money with her, or clothes that are appropriate for the cold weather.

Officials said Frigine-York is medically fragile, and according to her daughter suffers from paranoia and chronic pain.

Police said at this time, the ground search as been suspended until further leads become available.
