A Roseburg man suspected in a robbery at an adult-themed store in Douglas County has been arrested in Idaho.

According to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, the robbery occurred Nov. 13 at the Adult Shop, located at 726 John Long Rd. in Rice Hill. Deputies say a man wearing a disguise came into the business, used a stun gun on an employee and got away with an undisclosed amount of cash. The employee was able to escape and call 911.

Early in the investigation, detectives developed a suspect who was a former employee of the business, 18-year-old Alexander James Wilson of Roseburg. They served a search warrant at Wilson’s Roseburg home on Nov. 16 and found evidence that linked him to the robbery. Wilson was not home at the time of the warrant and detectives learned he had left Oregon and was believed to be in Idaho.

Wilson was arrested in Post Falls, Idaho on Saturday. He is expected to return to Oregon to face charges of Robbery II, Theft II, Unlawful Use of a Stun Gun, and Assault IV. It’s unclear when he will arrive in Douglas County.
