PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

A body recovered from the Willamette River on Monday has been identified as a 33-year-old man reported missing earlier this month.

Eugene Santos Vibar was reported missing to the Portland Police Bureau on Nov. 6.

On Monday afternoon, Multnomah County Sheriff's Office River Patrol deputies responded to a report of a body in the river just south of the Fremont Bridge.

The man's body was recovered and turned over to the Multnomah County Medical Examiner's Office.

The medical examiner identified the body as Vibar on Tuesday and reported there were no signs of foul play. The cause of death was ruled a drowning.

The manner of death is still to be determined, according to the sheriff's office.
