Motive unknown in deadly NE Portland shooting; reward offered

PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

A reward is being offered to help catch the suspect who shot and killed a 27-year-old man in northeast Portland.

Emergency crews responded to the 3900 block of Northeast Rodney Avenue at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 7.

An unconscious man was found on the ground. Arthur Simon Aihebhoria was pronounced dead at the scene and the medical examiner determined he died of a gunshot wound.

Officers contacted a neighbor who reported hearing a gunshot at around 6:30 p.m., but did not see anything and did not call 911.

Police said there is no suspect information and no known motive for the shooting.  

Crime Stoppers is offering a reward up to $2,500 for information that leads to an arrest in this case. Tips can be left at crimestoppersoforegon.com or 503-823-HELP.
