PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

A home was shot up in southeast Portland, but police do not believe the people inside were the intended targets.

Officers responded to the 16100 block of Southeast Madison Court at 2:10 a.m. Wednesday.

They arrived to find a house that had been hit by multiple rounds. There were no reports of injuries.

The Gang Violence Response Team responded to the scene, but it wasn't clear the level of gang involvement in connection to the shots fired.

Additional investigation led detectives to believe this was a case where the people in the home were not the intended targets of the shooting.

There is no suspect information at this time.

Anyone with information about this case is asked to call the police non-emergency line at 503-823-3333 or the tactical operations division 503-823-4106.
