COLUMBUS, OH (KPTV) -

The Portland Timbers have arrived in Ohio and are getting ready for the MLS Cup Final this Sunday.

On Friday, both the Timbers and their opponent, the Columbus Crew, attended a news conference to talk about the big game.

"We've worked really hard from day one, and being able to play at home, there's nothing else you could ask for," said Kei Kamara, forward for the Columbus Crew.

While Columbus does have the home field advantage, Timbers Head Coach Caleb Porter said his team has something else.

"The biggest thing I think is we're humble. We go into games and this is a humble group of guys. Confident but not naive. We look at ourselves, we know our weaknesses, our strengths. We know the opponents strengths, weaknesses, and we're very tactically flexible and we can do different things to win games and these guys, you know, buy into that," said Coach Porter.

In Friday's conference and in many other interviews, Coach Porter and the Timbers have mentioned the fans, saying they believe they have the best fans in the league.

The MLS Cup is set for Sunday at 1 p.m. Pacific on ESPN.
