LEBANON, OR (KPTV) -

Linn County Deputies are investigating a serious crash involving a Ford Ranger pick-up and a Honda Forman ATV Friday evening.

Deputies said dispatch received calls just after 5:45 p.m. reporting a crash near the 3100 block of Parker Road, just west of Lebanon.

Lebanon Fire Department medical personnel arrived and found the ATV rider, Traci Parker, 39, had serious head injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital.

According to deputies, Parker works at a farm near the location of the crash and was not wearing a helmet at the time.

Officials said Parker drove her ATV from the farm onto the roadway where she was struck by a pick-up traveling northbound.

It is unknown if she was driving the ATV with the lights on or why she was on the roadway.

A Black Lab dog was also hit and killed during the time of the crash, according to the Linn County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies are now trying to find the owner of the dog.

The driver of the pick-up, Brian Beckler, 27, is cooperating with the investigation.

Beckler was not injured and had his headlights on at the time of the crash, according to deputies.
